Yongsan District Assembly Delivers 2026 Special Red Cross Membership Fee, Pledging to Build a Warm Community Through Sharing

The Yongsan District Assembly, on the 12th, participated in the spread of a culture of sharing with the community by delivering a ‘2026 Special Red Cross Membership Fee’.

The delivery ceremony was held at the Yongsan District Assembly, attended by five officials, including the Northwest Volunteer Center Director of the Korean Red Cross Seoul Branch and the chairman of the Yongsan District Council. On this day, Chairman Kim Sung-chul of the Yongsan District Assembly delivered the special membership fee in the name of the ‘Yongsan District Assembly’.

Chairman Kim Sung-chul expressed his gratitude by saying, “I deeply appreciate the dedication of Red Cross members who continue their volunteer and support activities throughout the community,” and added, “The Yongsan District Assembly will also create a warm community with the citizens through parliamentary activities that emphasize the value of sharing.”

According to the Korean Red Cross, the special membership fee delivered this time is voluntarily collected from the public and will be used for humanitarian relief activities such as emergency support for crisis households and support for vulnerable groups.

The Yongsan District Assembly participates in the collection of special membership fees for the Red Cross every year and continues its sharing activities with the community.
