Yeongdeungpo District’s Future Education Foundation announced that it will operate the ‘Future Career Concert for Parents’ and ‘Science Class with a Difference’ throughout the year. This program is designed to provide practical help to both parents and children in response to the changing social and educational environment.
The ‘Future Career Concert for Parents’ is a lecture program aimed at enhancing parents’ support capabilities for their children’s career paths. On September 16, Park Jeom-hee, CEO of Baron Digital Research Institute, will lecture on ‘Opening the Future with Literacy Skills in the AI Age,’ focusing on the use of digital tools. On September 25, Exo (Lee Sun-ho), a science communicator, will introduce voluntary learning methods themed ‘Complete Motivation through Scientific Life Planning.’
From October to November, tailored lectures applicable to real life will continue, covering topics such as ▲ Parent-child communication techniques (By Lim Young-joo, a parent education research institute representative) ▲ Job changes in the AI era (By Ban Byeong-hyeon, CEO of Nana Company) ▲ The value and culture of science (By Kim Beom-jun, a professor at Sungkyunkwan University) ▲ Roadmap for children’s school life (By Lee Eun-kyung, an expert in child education).
The family participation-based science culture program ‘Science Class with a Difference’ for elementary students (grades 3-6) and parents is also underway. On the 20th, Professor Na Yong-su from Seoul National University will give a lecture on ‘Future Energy and Artificial Sun,’ followed by a LEGO building experience in collaboration with the National Fusion Research Institute. After October, various programs such as ‘Stargazing,’ ‘Insect Specimen Making,’ ‘Creating Music with AI,’ and ‘Science Experiment Concert’ will be held monthly.

We will continue to support the growth of all residents through various educational programs adapted to the changes of the times.”
