Seoul City has announced that it will host the ‘2025 Seoul Spring Festival’ across the city for seven days starting April 30. The event will consist of content that combines various cultural elements of Seoul, including performances, fashion, and food.
The ‘Wonder Show,’ which marks the beginning of the festival, will be held at the Seoul World Cup Stadium at 7 PM on April 30. Fifteen K-POP teams participating in the performances have been announced, and tickets can be reserved for free through the official website starting at noon on March 31. There is a ticket issuing fee of 2,000 KRW, and foreigners are charged an additional 6,000 KRW for passport verification. Apart from advance reservations, 3,300 tickets will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
On May 4, the citizen participation program ‘Fun Night Walk 5K’ will be operated for the first time. The course will start at Gwanghwamun Square, follow the perimeter of Gyeongbokgung Palace, and extend to the Blue House, covering a 5 km route. It will include mini-concerts and DJ parades held on Gwanghwamun Boulevard. Participants can view the nighttime scenery from the Daejeongwon to Nokjiwon section of the Blue House.
Applications for participation will open on April 2 at 1 PM through the official website, with a limit of 2,000 participants on a first-come, first-served basis. The participation fee is 15,000 KRW per person, which includes a backpack and LED glow sticks.
From May 1, themed events like ‘Soul Food Party’ and ‘K-Dance Party’ will be held at Seoul Plaza under the ‘Wonder Park’ theme. The ‘Soul Food Party’ will be held on May 1, featuring a paid program combining Korean lunchboxes with jazz performances, with a participation fee of 15,000 KRW. The ‘K-Dance Party’ will take place on May 2, with participation from citizen dance clubs and famous dance crews.
Applications for each program will be available from April 2 through the official website.
