From March to November, the Seodaemun District Health Center is offering free rentals of the “Home Kit for Preventing Picky Eating” for children under the age of 10. The program aims to promote healthy eating habits and is operated by the Gajwa Health Center.
The rental period is two weeks, with pickup every Monday and return by the following Friday. Applications can be made by visiting the nutrition counseling room at the Gajwa Health Center (3rd floor, Bukgajwa 1-dong Community Center) or by calling 02-3140-8325.
The home kit for children aged 6 and under includes three books on preventing picky eating, a recipe book, seeds for growing radish sprouts, and toy salad-making sets. For children aged 7 to 9, the kit contains a board game on preventing picky eating and stickers for nutritional education, allowing for natural improvement of eating habits through play.
The Gajwa Health Center plans to continue offering nutrition education and activities tailored to children’s levels to address picky eating. Additionally, they will conduct nutrition education and personalized nutrition classes for residents throughout various life stages.
