Samsung Electronics’ 2025 OLED (SF95) TV has obtained NVIDIA’s ‘G-SYNC Compatible’ certification.
The Samsung OLED TV had previously received AMD’s ‘FreeSync Premium Pro’ certification. With the addition of the G-SYNC Compatible certification, it has now secured certifications for both major graphics technologies.
G-SYNC compatibility is a technology that synchronizes the refresh rate of a display with the frame rate of a graphics card, aimed at reducing tearing and stuttering phenomena.
Samsung OLED TV users can implement stable, uninterrupted display when playing games with high-spec graphics cards using the G-SYNC Compatible feature.
The Samsung OLED TV includes many game-related features. ‘AI Auto Game Mode’ automatically optimizes the image and sound settings for gaming. The ‘Game Bar’ is an interface that allows real-time setting adjustments.
The ‘Motion Xcelerator’ supports a refresh rate of up to 165Hz. An automatic low latency mode, ‘ALLM (Auto Low Latency Mode),’ is also applied. It also includes a ‘Gaming Hub,’ which allows access to a variety of game content.
For TV viewing features, it is equipped with AI-based picture optimization technology that recognizes playback content to adjust the screen and sound. ‘Glare-Free’ technology is supported to reduce screen reflections.
With the ‘SmartThings’ connectivity feature, appliances can be monitored and controlled through the TV.
Lee Sang-wook, Vice President of Samsung Electronics’ Visual Display Business, stated, “With the G-SYNC Compatible certification, Samsung OLED TV’s gaming competitiveness has been further enhanced,” adding, “We will continue to provide the best entertainment experience for gamers as well as various consumers with Samsung OLED, which combines AI technology and gaming performance.”
