Samsung Electronics announced on the 7th that it will collaborate with Lego Korea to operate a Lego assembly experience space using the ultra-short throw projector ‘The Premiere 5’ until the end of the year.
In the experience zone, users can mirror their smartphones to ‘The Premiere 5’, project the Lego Builder app’s instructions onto a table, and assemble Legos using the touch function to turn pages or zoom in on the screen. Released last April, ‘The Premiere 5’ is a home-use premium projector featuring triple laser technology with a distinctive infrared-based touch function.

The experience spaces began opening sequentially from July 3 starting with Lotte Department Store Jamsil Branch, followed by ▲Lotte World Mall (7/4) ▲Gimpo Branch (7/7) ▲Hyundai Department Store Pangyo Branch (7/8) ▲Shinsegae Department Store Gangnam Branch (7/9) ▲Hyundai Department Store Mokdong Branch (7/10) .
The two companies are also conducting a joint promotion to commemorate this collaboration. Customers who purchase ‘The Premiere 5’ at Samsung stores and visit designated Lego stores will receive a ‘Lego Start Pack’, and customers who purchase products at Lego stores and visit designated Samsung stores will receive a 5% discount on the purchase of ‘The Premiere 5’.
Samsung Electronics Korea’s General Manager Kang Jin-seon said, “We are providing new touch-based experiences that help develop creativity,” adding, “We aim to offer special enjoyment to consumers.”
