Saltware has achieved new results in the domestic market through collaboration with Datadog, a global leader in monitoring platforms.
Saltware recently announced that it successfully conducted the first-ever Channel Partner Private Offer (CPPO) transaction in Korea based on Datadog standards. This transaction took place via the AWS Marketplace, a digital catalog that allows for easy exploration, purchase, and deployment of third-party software, services, and data solutions.
This achievement was made as part of Saltware’s strategy to strengthen its ISV (Independent Software Vendor) business based on the AWS Marketplace. The company continues to strive to expand strategic partnerships with global SaaS companies to provide differentiated services to its customers.
Saltware and Datadog are expanding the scope of their collaboration beyond mere transactions. The two companies jointly held an offline Immersion Day seminar on October 15, under the theme “How to maintain work-life balance without working overtime.”
The seminar covered practical topics such as the latest DevOps trends, GitOps-based deployment automation, and application error tracking. A hands-on lab program was also conducted, integrating AWS CodeBuild, ArgoCD, and Datadog, allowing participants to gain cloud operation know-how applicable to real operating environments.
Lee Jung-geun, CEO of Saltware, stated, “The collaboration with Datadog is becoming an important turning point for the expansion of domestic ISV business,” and added that they are in close discussions to elevate the Datadog partner tier to the Advanced level based on rapid growth.
Lee Soo-rim, Head of Korea Channels and Alliances at Datadog, commented, “We recognize Saltware as a strategic partner,” and expressed, “The two companies will continue to expand the scope of cooperation, focusing on securing and expanding new Datadog customers in Korea.”
Saltware and Datadog plan to maintain close cooperation in the future to continuously support domestic companies in building more efficient and reliable cloud operation environments.
