The Public Procurement Service (PPS), led by Commissioner Im Ki-geun, is introducing the “Idle Administrative Property Public Reporting System,” allowing anyone to report unused state-owned properties for efficient management. The agency plans to systematically manage and actively utilize these neglected assets for public purposes.

Starting from the 14th, reports on idle administrative properties can be submitted through the National Property Investigation and Management System and the PPS website. Any citizen can report, and the reported assets will be reviewed to determine whether they will be incorporated into the national property or utilized for public purposes.

State-owned properties include lands, buildings, and facilities owned by the government, among which a significant portion remains unused or neglected. Following calls for systematic management of these assets, the reporting system was established.

PPS Commissioner Im emphasized, “The introduction of the Idle Administrative Property Public Reporting System is an opportunity for citizens to make existing state-owned properties more valuable. We need everyone’s keen interest and active participation.” He added that the PPS will closely review the operation and results of the public reporting system to continually assess and possibly expand the system.

Reports can be filed at the “National Participation Reporting Center” on the PPS website. For more information, contact the National Property Planning Division at 042-724-6413.
