AI lightweight and optimization technology company Nota (CEO Cha Myung-soo) announced on the 6th that it passed all four categories of the KISA intelligent CCTV performance test and certification managed by the Korea Internet & Security Agency (KISA), which include behavior such as loitering, intrusion, falling, and abandonment. This officially proves the accuracy and stability of Nota’s AI video analysis technology.

The KISA intelligent CCTV performance test and certification system is the highest level of domestic verification, comprehensively evaluating AI video analysis technology’s object detection ability, behavior recognition performance, and environmental adaptability. Nota earned a high average score of 95 points across the four categories, confirming its stable performance deployment in diverse environments including industry, public safety, and transportation.

The recently certified Nota Vision Agent (NVA) is an AI video control solution based on the Vision-Language Model (VLM). NVA accurately detects risk factors and immediately responds by understanding the relationships between objects and the context of situations in the video. Especially, Nota’s unique AI model lightweight and optimization technology allows real-time precision analysis even in settings with large-scale server infrastructure or network constraints.

Nota first commercialized this vision-language model-based video control solution in Korea by introducing the NVA at Kolon Industries’ Gimcheon 2nd Plant last August. Since then, it has expanded its application range to various industrial fields such as manufacturing, construction, transportation, and public safety.

Additionally, Nota plans to introduce an ‘agent-based traffic management system’ in collaboration with Dubai’s Road Transport Authority (RTA) to automatically recognize traffic accidents and propose response actions for different situations. It is also advancing towards entering the Southeast Asian market, which has high demand for NVA in fields like traffic, manufacturing, and safety, accelerating its global market diversification.

CEO Cha Myung-soo stated, “This KISA certification demonstrates the recognized trust and completeness of Nota’s AI video control technology,” and added, “We aim to set the standard for imaging AI technology in various fields such as industry, transportation, and public safety, and contribute to building a social safety net through practical accident prevention and protection of human life.” He continued, “The era of ‘Physical AI,’ where AI perceives and responds to the physical space, is approaching rapidly, and Nota will lead innovation in industrial fields focusing on generative AI video control technology.”
