Domestic on-device AI optimization company Nota has partnered with global edge software company Wind River to tackle the generative AI market. Nota announced on the 29th that it has signed a partner program agreement (PPA) with Wind River and will promote technological cooperation in the on-device generative AI field.
This collaboration aims to accelerate the development of generative AI models specialized for edge environments by integrating Nota’s AI optimization platform ‘NetsPresso’ with Wind River’s ‘Studio Developer’.
The two companies are focusing on improving the efficiency of the entire process from development, training, compression, conversion, evaluation, to deployment of AI models. Real-time feedback collected through the ‘Digital Feedback Loop’ of Studio Developer is re-connected to NetsPresso, allowing continuous performance improvement and fine-tuning of the models.
Furthermore, the automated testing function reduces the cost and time of repetitive tasks, and the virtual lab function allows AI models to be verified remotely without actual hardware.

Nota CEO Chae Myeong-su said, “The combination of Wind River’s edge computing expertise and Nota’s optimization technology can accelerate AI adoption in various industries.” Avijit Sinha, Vice President of Wind River, also stated, “The collaboration between the two companies will contribute to expanding use cases of edge AI.”
Nota possesses technology that allows AI models to be executed directly on devices, while Wind River provides edge software and DevOps platforms for mission-critical systems.
