LG Display has set up an ‘OLED Heritage’ exhibition space demonstrating the technological evolution of large OLED panels, the first to be mass-produced worldwide. From the 15-inch prototype in 2009 to advancements in tandem structure, deuterium structure, micro lens array, and primary RGB tandem, technologies from the first to the fourth generations are displayed as models.

In the large OLED product section, an 83-inch panel utilizing fourth-generation technology is prominently featured. This panel implements the primary RGB tandem structure, stacking the primary colors of light into independent layers, achieving a maximum brightness of 4000 nits. Visitors can directly compare the picture quality differences with existing panels.

In the small to medium-sized section, a 540Hz 27-inch OLED panel is unveiled for the first time. It supports a refresh rate of up to 720Hz in HD, applying DFR (Dynamic Frequency & Resolution) technology, with 99.5% DCI-P3 color reproduction and a maximum brightness of 1500 nits. A 45-inch 5K2K resolution OLED monitor is also available in the experience zone for hands-on use.

In the automotive display section, various advanced products are installed in a fully autonomous concept car. These include a 57-inch pillar-to-pillar LCD, a 32.6-inch slidable OLED, a 29-inch outdoor LCD, and a 47.8-inch LTPS LCD with SPM (Switchable Privacy Mode) technology. A stretchable display is also introduced, where the display extends and transforms into a jog-dial form with a touch of a button.

Additionally, low-power displays optimized for the AI era such as the 14-inch tandem ATO and 14.5-inch low-power LCD are presented. These solutions extend battery life even in high power consumption environments.

LG Display emphasized its technological leadership by showcasing various OLED technologies and sustainable low-power displays, and announced plans to continue providing customer-tailored solutions.
