Seoul Gangseo District announced on the 8th that it received a donation of goods from Korean Air (CEO Cho Won-tae) to help neighbors in need.
The delivery ceremony was held at the Gangseo District Office, attended by about 10 officials, including Gangseo District Mayor Jin Gyo-hoon and Korean Air Social Service Committee Chairman Ji Sang-hwi.
The goods delivered by Korean Air on this day included 300 bags of 10kg rice, which will be distributed to 300 low-income households in five areas: Hwagok 1-dong, Gayang 2-dong, Gonghang-dong, Banghwa 1-dong, and Banghwa 2-dong. The total value exceeds 10 million won.

Since 2006, Korean Air has been actively involved in donation activities to support underprivileged communities. Last year, they donated the same number of 10kg rice bags to contribute to the welfare improvement of local communities.
Gangseo District Mayor Jin Gyo-hoon expressed his gratitude, saying, “We thank Korean Air for consistently practicing sharing to ensure that our neighbors in need can have a warm winter,” and added, “Gangseo District will also work to create a warm community where all residents share and no one is left in welfare blind spots.”
