The Korea Polytechnic University (Chairman Chul-Soo Lee) unveiled a new slogan, “Opening a Blue Future, Korea’s Premier Technical Education,” on the 10th (Monday). As a representative vocational education institution of Korea, the slogan embodies their determination to design the future together with the public and to become the world’s leading public vocational education university.
The design of the new slogan symbolizes a bright future led by technical education through the rising blue lines, while the tree shape at the top intuitively expresses the growth and fruition that Polytechnic University aims to achieve. The accompanying sub-slogan, “Prepared for Tomorrow with Technology,” implies that citizens can prepare for both ‘tomorrow’ and ‘my job’ through technical education.
Along with the announcement of the new slogan, Polytechnic University also revealed the brand identity for the vocational education model ‘K-SHIFT’ that was declared last September. ‘K-SHIFT’ aims to enhance the basis for providing vocational education to anyone, anytime, and anywhere, and to lead lifelong vocational education through openness and sharing. This aligns with their strategy to support all citizens in developing job skills and to establish themselves as a job-centered university that connects citizens with the future.
Founded in 1968, Korea Polytechnic University has produced over 3 million core industry personnel over 57 years, solidifying its position as Korea’s leading technical education institution. Chairman Chul-Soo Lee stated, “Through this new slogan, we will reaffirm the tradition of Polytechnic University and support everyone who desires technical education to prepare for the future with us.”
