Konkuk University has been selected for the ‘2025 Idea Commercialization Support Project’ organized by the Korea Creative Content Agency.

This project aims to nurture content startups and activate the startup ecosystem. Konkuk University’s Startup Center, under the Startup Support Division, will manage the project operations. Prospective entrepreneurs are provided with a package of entrepreneurship education, personalized mentoring, investment attraction, marketing support, and commercialization funds.

Eligible participants will receive commercialization funds of up to 5 million KRW. Participants can refine their ideas and solidify their business models through tailored programs. Excellent teams will have the opportunity to advance to the finals of the ‘Challenge K-Startup’ competition.

The project duration is from the signing of the agreement until November 30, 2025. Konkuk University has secured a budget of 1.6 billion KRW as an incubator institution. The recruitment of prospective entrepreneurs will be conducted from March 21 to April 9, and anyone preparing for a startup in the content field can apply.

Konkuk University has recorded 215 student startup companies over the past three years, ranking first nationwide. Various startup support projects, including the Pre-Startup Package and Seoul Campus Town Project, are also being conducted in parallel.

Bae Sung-jun, head of the Startup Support Division, stated, “We will actively support prospective entrepreneurs in the content field to achieve substantial outcomes.”
