The event was attended by Hyundai’s Domestic Business Division Vice President Jeong Yoo-seok, Domestic Support Business Division Manager Yoon Hyo-joon, Domestic Business Support Office Manager Kim Kyung-jo, Cho Rok Woosan’s head Shin Jeong-won, and participating car masters.

‘Hope on Wheels Matching Grant’ is a social contribution activity that has been continuing for six years, linking Hyundai’s global CSR program ‘Hyundai Hope on Wheels’ with the domestic fundraising project ‘Sales King Matching Grant.’ Hyundai has been conducting a pediatric cancer eradication campaign in North America since 1998 and has established a nonprofit organization to continue supporting research and treatment.

In Korea, since 2019, it has been raising funds to support children from low-income families and children of traffic accident victims, along with outstanding sales car masters. This time, 63 former and current car masters participated, raising 28.9 million won, which was matched by Hyundai to deliver a total of 57.8 million won to Cho Rok Woosan.

The donated funds will be used for surgery, medical expenses, and medication costs for children with cancer.

A Hyundai Motor official stated, “We will continue to support activities aimed at eradicating pediatric cancer and strive to deliver hope and courage to more children.”
