The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport (Minister Kim Yoon-duk) announced on the 10th that a voluntary corrective action (recall) will be initiated for 40,380 units of 16 different models manufactured, imported, and sold by Hyundai Motor Company, Ford Sales Service Korea, DNA Motors, Mercedes-Benz Korea, and Stellantis Korea, due to identified manufacturing defects.
Hyundai Motor will conduct a recall for 27,656 units of two models, including the Palisade, starting from September 16, due to an identified defect in the bonnet latch robustness.
Ford is proceeding with corrective actions for 5,984 units of two models, including the Explorer, due to a defect found in the assembly of the seatbelt buckle fixing bolts, starting from September 5.
DNA Motors initiated a recall for 5,512 units of the UHR125 motorcycle on September 10 after identifying a manufacturing defect in the alternator hall sensor within the powertrain. This sensor is a device that delivers the crankshaft rotation position information to the engine control unit (ECU).

Mercedes-Benz will conduct a recall starting from September 12 for 904 units of 10 models, including the GLC 300 4MATIC, where a defect in the steering mechanism parts tightening was confirmed.
Stellantis is running a recall on 324 units of the Jeep Wrangler due to a defect found in the assembly of the remote start antenna cable, starting from September 5. This device is responsible for transmitting wireless signals such as remote start and tire pressure monitoring.
