The government will hold a joint online briefing session to expand the entry of private experts into public office in anticipation of the unified recruitment examination for 5th and 7th-grade private career personnel.
The Ministry of Personnel Management announced that it will host the ‘2025 Unified Recruitment Exam Joint Online Briefing Session for Private Career Personnel’ from May 26 to 28, involving 30 central ministries.
This briefing session is designed to provide recruitment information to private experts interested in public office and to enhance their understanding of the job. It will be broadcast live through the Ministry of Personnel Management’s YouTube channel ‘Personnel Office TV’.
The planned recruitment number for 2025 is a total of 157 people. Among them, 40 are for 5th grade and 117 are for 7th grade. The Ministry of Food and Drug Safety will recruit 3 people for 5th grade and 35 people for 7th grade in areas such as law, medical affairs, and medical devices, making it the largest recruiting agency. The Rural Development Administration plans to select 17 people for 7th grade, and the Ministry of Interior and Safety will select 13 people for 7th grade.
Each institution will receive a presentation time of 15-30 minutes to explain its talent standards, duties, organizational culture, and welfare systems. Participants can also apply for a text notification service at the Cyber National Examination Center after the briefing session concludes.
The Ministry of Personnel Management plans to accept applications for the unified recruitment exam for private career personnel from next month, from June 2 to June 13.
Yeon Won-jung, the chief of the Ministry of Personnel Management, stated, “We will continuously expand the recruitment opportunities so that private experts with diverse experiences can demonstrate their capabilities in public office.”
