On May 2, Gangnam-gu will hold an experiential festival for children, called “Gangnam Children’s Festa,” at the Gangnam Children’s Hall, ahead of Children’s Day.

This event is the first children-only festival held by the Gangnam Children’s Hall, which opened last September, and will feature various play and experience programs centered on seven themes.

On the day of the event, the entire venue from the basement 1st floor to the 6th floor will be decorated as theme experience spaces. Participants can enjoy various experiences through ▲ Creative Zone ▲ Play Zone ▲ Safety Experience Zone ▲ Photo Zone ▲ Food Zone ▲ Child Psychology Zone ▲ Bubble·Magic Show performances.

In the Creative Zone, activities like hand fan, deform block, and flowerpot carnation making will be offered, while the Play Zone will provide experiences such as air bounces, VR, and climbing. The Safety Experience Zone will offer experiences in infection prevention, fingerprint registration, and fire safety. Additionally, life-cut photo zones, mirror photo zones, and emotion card psychological tests will also be available.

The event will run from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, divided into two sessions: the first session for groups and the second for individuals. Six groups from regional daycares will participate in the first session, while the second session will allow participation for 200 individuals on a first-come-first-served basis. Participation reservations can be made on the Gangnam Children’s Hall website from 10:00 AM on April 14.

The Gangnam Children’s Hall operates 73 programs in 8 areas, including physical activity, cultural arts science, and English play zone, and has strengthened its content this year by adding 28 new programs such as English musicals, primary economics, and 3D pen art.

Cho Seong-myung, the mayor of Gangnam-gu, stated, “I hope the children can fully enjoy themselves and make precious memories with their families,” and added, “We will continue to support the healthy growth of children through various programs.”
