The Gangnam District will operate the ‘2025 Oxbridge Career and Cultural International Exchange’ program for three days from July 21 to 23 at Pungmoon High School.

The program is an immersive career exploration education conducted entirely in English with local tutors from Oxford and Cambridge. Now in its third year, this international exchange educational project by Gangnam District allows students to record it in their school records and utilize it for college entrance preparation.

This year, both the number of participants and the teaching staff have increased. The number of participating students has grown from 90 to 96, and the number of tutors has increased from 6 to 8. In addition to the existing fields of science, engineering & tech, and humanities & social sciences, a new social science field has been added.

All classes are conducted exclusively in English and are operated in small classes of about 12 students. Participants develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills through team projects, English discussions, and in-depth mock interviews. Individual career coaching and feedback on English interviews are also provided.

Gangnam District Mayor Cho Sung-myung said, “The Oxbridge program is an opportunity for students to experience the capability to engage on the international stage,” adding, “We will continue to expand global educational programs.”
