‘Galaxy Certified Used Phones’ are flagship smartphones returned by consumers due to simple change of mind or being opened, which have passed Samsung’s quality inspection for top-grade products. The initial sales target is the ‘Galaxy S24 series’ unlocked models, and the company plans to expand the product range depending on market response.

The selling price is 260,000 to 640,000 won lower than new products, varying by model. The devices can only be purchased online through Samsung.com, with major prices being 1,307,900 won for the Galaxy S24 Ultra (256GB), 1,041,700 won for the S24+ (256GB), and 889,900 won for the S24 (256GB).
The product comes with a 2-year free A/S warranty, identical to new products, and enrollment in Samsung Care Plus’ damage protection plan is also possible. Additionally, refunds are available within 7 days after purchase, reducing the burden for consumers.
Samsung Electronics aims to allow consumers to experience ‘Galaxy AI’ technology at relatively lower prices by reselling returned products that were previously disposed of as a batch. At the same time, the company contributes to the realization of a circular economy by reducing smartphone waste.
A Samsung Electronics representative stated, “The ‘Galaxy Certified Used Phone’ guaranteed by Samsung adds an option for consumers to purchase flagship models, and we hope more customers experience ‘Galaxy AI’ through this.”
