141 middle school students participated, focusing on practical experience education in flight simulators and aviation maintenance.

Seoul Eunpyeong-gu announced on the 7th that the ‘2025 Eunpyeong Aerospace Camp,’ aimed at enhancing youth career exploration and scientific imagination, was successfully concluded.
This camp was a core project of Eunpyeong Youth Village School and was held at Korea Aerospace University on two occasions, June 14 and 21. A total of 141 local middle school students participated in activities related to the actual aviation industry, including flight simulators, drone piloting, and aircraft maintenance.
During the flight simulator experience, participating students practiced basic controls and learned the principles of flying, such as takeoff and landing, and turns. In the drone arcade experience, they honed their piloting skills through indoor flying. The aircraft maintenance experience included practical tasks such as fuel system tube manufacturing and riveting, helping students understand the structure of aircraft.
Additionally, participants increased their understanding and interest in the aerospace field through various activities, such as boarding an A300 passenger aircraft, visiting an aerospace museum, and engaging in career Q&A sessions with university students.
Eunpyeong-gu is also implementing a variety of career exploration programs for youth, such as future innovation schools, urban agriculture schools, and life skills schools, and plans to expand experience-based education.
Eunpyeong Mayor Kim Mi-kyung stated, “I hope this serves as an opportunity for young people to experience fields they don’t often encounter and to clarify their career paths,” and added, “We will continue to operate experience-based education that prepares for the future.”
