The ‘Design Art Fair 2025 (DAF2025)’ will be held at the Seoul Arts Center from April 8 to 16. Celebrating its 16th year, this art fair is themed ‘Gifting Art’, offering a new experience of not just appreciating art but owning and gifting it.

Joo Hyung-keun, the CEO of My Art Art Planning Institute, the organizing company, emphasized, “The Design Art Fair is more than just selling art pieces; it is a space to experience and share art. It distinguishes itself by allowing direct communication with artists and offering performances and experiences of living art.”

This event will feature 74 booths and 120 artists showcasing various genres, including paintings, ceramics, textiles, sculptures, designs, and illustrations. Especially, it runs pop-up booths for emerging artists to offer opportunities to discover new talents.

Exhibitions will be held at the Hangaram Design Museum and the 7th Exhibition Hall of the Hangaram Art Museum. At the Design Museum, a variety of works from large pieces to small items and limited edition art products will be displayed under the theme ‘Gifting Art’. Additionally, participating artists will conduct docent tour programs to introduce their works. The 7th Exhibition Hall will host ‘New Trend Art Market’, displaying unique works by emerging artists and trendy brands.

The Ichigo Saeyon Project will, in particular, offer an experience exploring the colors of emotions with visitors through its ‘Happy Hormone Traveler’s Live Painting’ performance. Additionally, paper engineer Kim Soo-hyun will demonstrate the transformation of paper into 3D pop-up engineering live.

Specially planned exhibitions include collaborating with the domestic art platform ‘hypeN’ to hold an art consulting booth and a zero-cost art drop event. Moreover, an exhibition in collaboration with Milal Welfare Foundation Bridge-on Arte will showcase works by artists with developmental disabilities.

CEO Joo stated, “Art is the most beautiful gift that enriches life. Through this exhibition, we hope many people will discover the joy of art and feel the pleasure of owning and gifting special artworks.”
