Delegation from Bayangol District, Mongolia Visits Seongdong District Council: Discussions on Policy Exchange and Friendly Cooperation

The Seoul Seongdong District Council announced that a delegation from the sister city, Bayangol District in Mongolia, visited the council on the 26th (Wednesday).

This visit aimed to expand exchanges between the two cities and benchmark Seongdong District’s excellent policies and administrative facilities. The delegation consisted of over 20 members, including our Sumiyabatar, district mayor, council members, and representatives from the merchants’ association.

The members of the Seongdong District Council, including Chairperson Nam Yeon-hee, welcomed the delegation on the first floor of the council, guiding them through key areas such as the council lounge and the main chamber. A luncheon and gift exchange followed, providing an opportunity to reaffirm the friendly relationship between the sister cities.

In her welcoming speech, Chairperson Nam emphasized the importance of cooperation and mutual development between the two cities, noting the critical significance of maintaining a continuous relationship based on mutual trust.

District Mayor Sumiyabatar expressed hope for cultural understanding and practical cooperation across various fields, demonstrating a commitment to continuing exchanges.

Seongdong District Council intends to use this exchange as a foundation to strengthen international cooperation and enhance the competitiveness of local administration in the future.
