The Seoul AI Foundation will fully unveil ten video contents of “Anywhere 5-Minute Class – AI Edition,” which focus on practical artificial intelligence (AI) and digital technology learning for seniors, through YouTube and the “Seoul AI EduTech” platform starting July 1.

“Anywhere 5-Minute Class – AI Edition” mainly targets the elderly who need to acquire digital skills post-retirement. It covers content closely connected to everyday life, such as voice-based responses, chatbot usage, mobile easy authentication, health management, and transportation app usage. Each video has a duration of about five minutes, designed to allow for easy repetitive learning without requiring membership registration, enabling independent learning.

The released ten types of content include how to use generative AI, fact-checking, voice AI, KakaoTalk AI, simple certificate issuance, Seoul Pay, T-Money Go, and more. Professional organizations, including the Korea Press Foundation, Seoul Metro, and the Korea Health and Medical Information Service, collaborated in the video production to enhance the expertise and effectiveness of the content.

Among them, the “AI Fact Check” content introduces the phenomenon of AI producing incorrect information, known as “hallucination,” and guides users on how to identify and respond to fake information. The “Ttottanengker” video jointly produced with Seoul Metro covers how to use the subway locker app, while the content produced in cooperation with the Korea Health and Medical Information Service introduces the “My Health Record” app, which allows users to check their hospital visit and medication history.

Additionally, the “Seoul Pay+” content, operated by the Seoul city, provides guidance on using mobile payments for transportation and consumption.

This content is designed not just for technology acquisition but to help viewers naturally utilize it in daily life. The core goal is to reduce the technological gap for the elderly and support them in applying it practically to everyday life.

The publicly available videos can be watched for free by anyone on the Seoul AI EduTech website and the Seoul AI Foundation YouTube channel, and are also accessible through the SK Btv channel. Without a sign-up process and accessible via smartphone, the content is designed to allow independent learning without assistance from children or acquaintances, enhancing accessibility.

Chairman Kim Man-gi of the Seoul AI Foundation stated, “AI should not be a special technology but something easily applied in everyone’s daily life,” and added, “We will continue to expand educational content to enable any citizen in need of adopting technological change to realize digital independence.” He further mentioned, “The Seoul AI Foundation will continue to provide practical support to build an inclusive digital environment in the future.”
