Seoul Geumcheon District will issue an additional 600 million won worth of ‘Geumcheon Ddangyeoyo vouchers’ starting at 10 a.m. on the 8th.
The district had issued and completely sold 500 million won worth of vouchers until July. Reflecting the positive response from residents, they have expanded the issuance plan.
The ‘Geumcheon Ddangyeoyo vouchers’ are mobile-only vouchers used when ordering food through the public delivery application ‘Ddangyeoyo.’ Individuals can purchase up to 200,000 won per month through the Seoul Pay Plus (SeoulPay+) app, with a maximum hold limit of 1 million won.
These vouchers can be used at 1,417 affiliated stores within Geumcheon District registered in the ‘Ddangyeoyo’ app and are valid for one year from the purchase date.
With this issuance, benefits for both consumers and affiliated store owners have been expanded. Vouchers can be purchased at a 15% discounted price, with 10% of the payment amount reimbursed as a voucher the following month. Including 5% ‘Ddangyeoyo’ points, a maximum 30% discount effect can be achieved.
A coupon event from the Ministry of Agriculture, Food, and Rural Affairs is also being held. If you place an order for more than 20,000 won twice, you will receive a 10,000 won coupon.
Additionally, a 5% discount event is being conducted targeting nine chicken franchise brands such as Goobne Chicken, BHC Chicken, and Zadamt Chicken. Participating brands include Gyeongi BBQ Chicken, Barun Chicken, Gamaro Gangjeong, Chicken Maru, Ho Chicken, and Kkuvra Go Charcoal Chicken.
The brokerage fee applied to affiliated store owners is 2%, which is lower than private delivery platforms. There are no additional advertising costs.
Yoo Seong-hoon, the governor of Geumcheon District, stated, “This policy aims to ease the business burden on small business owners in the Geumcheon District and provide substantial benefits to residents,” adding, “We will make continuous efforts to revitalize the local economy.”
