LG Twins signed a four-year FA contract with player Park Hae-min for a total of 6.5 billion won (contract fee of 3.5 billion won, annual salary of 2.5 billion won, and incentives of 500 million won) on November 21.
Park Hae-min first gained FA qualification in 2022 and joined LG Twins. During his four seasons with the LG Twins, he played in all 576 games, achieving a batting average of 0.278, 552 hits, 18 home runs, and 142 stolen bases. Notably, in 2025, he played a leading role in guiding the team back to a unified championship after two years as a captain. He recorded 49 stolen bases, tying the record for the most league-leading titles as the ‘King of Stolen Bases’ five times in KBO history. Furthermore, he demonstrated his skills as the best center fielder in the KBO League by winning the center fielder defensive award in 2023 and again in 2025.

After completing the contract, Park Hae-min expressed his gratitude, saying, “I am grateful to the club for offering such good conditions. I am happy to continue my career as a team member of LG Twins and will work hard to repay the fans with more victories and help strengthen the team. I also want to express my thanks to my teammates who believed in and supported me as a captain this year, despite my shortcomings, and especially to the fans who cheer for our LG Twins from behind.” Park Hae-min plans to meet fans and express his gratitude at the ‘Love Giving Festival’ on the 22nd.
The club stated, “Despite having good offers from other teams, we are grateful that Park Hae-min decided to stay with LG Twins. Since joining LG Twins, he has played a significant role in two unified championships and expressed his desire to continue as a LG Twins player. As a result, the club has signed a four-year contract with him, and we look forward to making greater strides with the team in the future.”
