Genesis brand has been selected as the “Best Luxury Car Brand” by U.S. News & World Report, a leading American media outlet.
On November 20, U.S. News & World Report announced the “2026 Best Vehicle Brand Awards,” which were categorized into six sections: luxury, SUV, passenger, truck, electrified, and luxury electrified.
This year’s awards analyzed comprehensive data such as safety, reliability, and expert evaluations of the entire lineup of 39 car brands to select the top brand in each category.
Genesis was highly praised for its outstanding quality and safety, sophisticated design, advanced convenience features, and reasonable price competitiveness, surpassing Porsche to win the title of “Best Luxury Car Brand.”
In particular, the G90 received a near-perfect score of 9.6 out of 10, earning acclaim as a “nearly perfect large luxury sedan.” The G80 and GV70 also received top-notch evaluations in their respective classes, contributing to Genesis’s accolade.

Meanwhile, Hyundai Motor Company also received recognition for the excellent quality of major SUVs like the Palisade and Tucson, earning the title of “Best SUV Brand” for two consecutive years.
Previously, Hyundai had been recognized at the same media’s “2025 Best Hybrid and Electric Cars Awards,” with three models: Ioniq 5, Ioniq 6, and Tucson Hybrid, achieving the highest number of awards among complete vehicle brands for two consecutive years.
