Salesforce has unveiled the latest version of its artificial intelligence (AI) platform, ‘Agentforce 360’. This announcement comes ahead of the annual customer conference ‘Dreamforce’, scheduled for the 14th (local time). Salesforce aims to support corporate clients in more easily building and operating AI with the new platform.
The core of Agentforce 360 is the newly added ‘Agent Script’ feature. This function allows users to pre-configure ‘if/then’ commands, enabling AI agents to respond flexibly depending on the situation. Users can fine-tune AI’s responses via text, and a beta version is set to launch in November. Salesforce explained that this will enhance AI’s predictability in practical work environments such as customer consultations and unstructured queries.
The Agent Script employs a ‘reasoning’ model that mimics thought processes. This feature means that rather than merely patterning responses, the AI goes through a ‘thinking’ process before responding. Models from major AI companies such as Anthropic, OpenAI, and Google Gemini are utilized in this function.
Salesforce has also introduced another new feature, ‘Agentforce Builder’. The Builder is a development tool that enables users to create, test, and deploy AI agents on a single platform. This, too, will be available in beta form in November. The Builder includes an app environment coding tool called ‘Agentforce Vibes’, which was announced by Salesforce earlier this month.
Additionally, Salesforce has strengthened its integration with the in-house collaboration messenger, Slack. The company announced that key applications of Agentforce, including Sales, IT, and HR functions, will be accessible directly within Slack starting this month.
Salesforce Chairman and CEO Marc Benioff said, “We are entering an ‘agentic enterprise’ era where AI fundamentally extends human capabilities. Agentforce 360 is a technology that connects people, agents, and data within a single trusted platform, helping all organizations achieve greater performance.”
