Comprehensive payment company NHN KCP (CEO Jun-seok Park) announced on the 30th that it successfully completed the first phase of the startup support program ‘Be Extraordinary Project,’ which was conducted for small-scale entrepreneurs through its online and offline integrated startup support service ‘Bevot.’
The ‘Be Extraordinary Project’ was designed to focus on directly supporting areas such as funding, operations, and promotion, which are the most needed by prospective entrepreneurs. The final selected candidate received a startup support fund of up to 7 million Won, along with a KCP POS+ terminal, receipts, and store promotion content production, providing a comprehensive package that systematically supports the entire startup process.

This project recruited participants through the Bevot app for about two weeks from July 29, with various aspiring entrepreneurs applying from diverse industries. The final selection was made based on comprehensive evaluations of vision, business potential, and managerial determination.
The final selected candidate is Mr. Woong-hee Lee (34), the founder of the café ‘Kosia Coffee.’ ‘Kosia Coffee,’ which opened on the 22nd in Sindang-dong, Jung-gu, Seoul, completed its startup preparations by utilizing various services from Bevot’s partnered companies, such as interior and move-in cleaning. Bevot is currently releasing content that captures the startup process through its app, official blog, and SNS channels like Instagram. After the store opens, they plan to produce a branding interview video to share the startup story.
Mr. Lee stated, “Although I have 12 years of experience in barista and store management, this is my first time starting a business, and I found the real estate contracts and administrative processes overwhelming.” He added, “Bevot provided a reliable list of companies and necessary information all at once, which was a great help. I hope it serves as a strong guide for other prospective entrepreneurs preparing for a startup alone.”
NHN KCP plans to conduct the second phase of the ‘Be Extraordinary Project’ later this year to offer more opportunities to aspiring entrepreneurs. The company stated that through this project, it has strengthened its position as a ‘partner platform’ that provides practical help to entrepreneurs. Moreover, they have gained positive feedback by introducing successful startup cases to Bevot users and plan to expand various programs that reflect actual entrepreneur demands.
