The Saemangeum Development Agency (Director Kim Eui-gyeom) is hosting the ‘2025 Saemangeum AI Short-Form Contest’, which captures the charm of Saemangeum using artificial intelligence (AI) technology. The contest will run from August 18 to September 7.
Anyone interested in Saemangeum can participate in the contest. Submissions must be original works that have not been submitted or awarded in other contests.
The format for submissions is unrestricted, and can include ads, drama, animation, movies, music videos, etc. Videos must be produced within 60 seconds and submitted in high-definition (MP4, Full HD).
The total prize money is 1.5 million won. The winners will be selected based on creativity, thematic relevance, and popularity. The grand prize of 500,000 won will be awarded to one individual, 200,000 won to two individuals for the excellence award, 100,000 won each for three individuals for the merit award, and 30,000 won each to ten individuals for the challenge award, making a total of 16 winners.
