Seoul Jung-gu has announced that it will recruit students for the ‘2025 Life Sports Class, 2nd Session’ aimed at promoting the health and leisure activities of the residents until July 16th.
This sports class will run from August to November, offering five sports including archery, table tennis, wrestling diet, gateball, and silver soccer. Each sport will have a maximum of 20 participants, except for silver soccer, which will accommodate up to 30.
Classes will be held at community centers such as the Residents’ Hall, Chungmu Sports Center, Son Ki-jeong Park, and Training Center Gymnasium, according to the designated days and times for each sport.

The tuition fee is generally 15,000 won per month, but for archery, it is 40,000 won per month. Gateball and silver soccer are free of charge, and a 50% discount is provided to participants over 65, while basic livelihood security recipients receive a full exemption.
The eligibility to apply includes Jung-gu residents, workers, and business owners within the district, and for silver soccer, only those who are 65 or older can apply. Applications can be submitted via the Jung-gu Office website or email, and inquiries should be directed to the Sports and Tourism Department.
In case of over-enrollment, priority is given to Jung-gu residents, and the final list of students will be announced on the Jung-gu Office website on July 23rd.
