The Seoul Seodaemun Youth Center will operate a customized growth support program, ‘ON Mind Project’, for Seoul youth who feel socially isolated, from April to July. The program targets youths aged 17 to 24 residing in Seoul, and participation is entirely free.
This project is designed for out-of-school youth, youth considering their academic paths, and those experiencing difficulties in interpersonal relationships. It aims to offer opportunities to form healthy social relationships and understand themselves through various experiences and activities. The program is held twice a week, systematically structured across five areas.
The first area, ‘Start ON’, is a time to develop communication skills with peers and lay the foundation for relationships through community activities. The second, ‘Life ON’, involves acquiring basic manners and financial education to gain essential knowledge for daily life. ‘Play ON’ focuses on cultural, artistic, and healing experiences to promote emotional stability through new experiences. ‘Health ON’ provides physical activities to support physical health and well-being. Lastly, ‘Dream ON’ prepares a time for career exploration and hobby development, allowing young individuals to design their futures.

A representative of the Seodaemun Youth Center stated, “The core of this program is to help youth understand themselves and grow together with peers even in isolated environments,” adding, “We hope that the ON Mind Project will help young people find direction in life and restore their self-esteem.”
Youth wishing to participate can apply through Naver Form, and for more details, they can contact the Youth Activity Team at the Seodaemun Youth Center.
