Schneider Electric Presents Sustainable Smart Factory Vision at ‘Smart Factory+Automation World 2025’

Schneider Electric, a global leader in energy management and automation, unveiled its automation and digital transformation solutions for sustainable smart factories at the ‘Smart Factory+Automation World 2025′.

This year marks the 50th anniversary of Schneider Electric’s establishment in Korea. Combining 50 years of accumulated technology with future innovations, the company emphasized the sustainability of the manufacturing industry. The exhibition showcased the theme ’50 Years of Innovation: Sustainable IMPACT for Smart Factories’, featuring automation solutions incorporating the latest technologies such as AI, IoT, and data analytics.

The main solutions showcased at the exhibition include the MC12 machine and Lexium cobot, which maximize flexibility in manufacturing environments; the Altivar Process Modular, a high-power drive solution capable of withstanding extreme environments; and integrated industrial automation solutions optimized for the battery, semiconductor, automotive, and display industries. Additionally, the next-generation high-performance HMI GP6000 series, the smart panel power management system, and the ESX rotating solution for real-time motor monitoring were also on display.

Schneider Electric is collaborating with global industrial software company AVEVA to support the digital transformation across the industry. The exhibition introduced AVEVA’s PI system for building real-time data infrastructure, AVEVA InTouch HMI for automation systems, and AVEVA Unified Operations Center for operational optimization.

Kwon Ji-woong, CEO of Schneider Electric Korea, stated, “We will create a sustainable industrial environment based on the technology and experience accumulated over 50 years,” adding, “We will actively support companies to enhance energy efficiency and reduce operating costs through smart factory innovations.”

Schneider Electric plans to present solutions that simultaneously achieve energy savings and productivity improvement in manufacturing, supporting companies in achieving their ESG goals.
